- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
- 4 slices bread (sourdough or whole grain)

- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped onion (if using), salt, and pepper until creamy yet chunky.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer half the cheese followed by a generous scoop of the tuna mixture. Top with remaining cheese and another slice of bread.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet with the buttered side down. Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip.
- Grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until browned and cheese is melted. Let rest before slicing.
