- 1 package Trader Joe’s Vegetable Dumplings (12 oz)
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (plus more for serving)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Clear your cooking space and gather all ingredients.
- In a non-stick pan over medium heat, heat sesame oil until fragrant. Add chopped green onions and sauté until softened.
- Add frozen vegetable dumplings in a single layer and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown on one side.
- Pour in water to cover half of the dumplings (about 1/4 cup). Cover with a lid and steam for about 5 minutes or until tender.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with chili flakes, and serve hot with soy sauce on the side.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding fresh herbs like cilantro or a dash of ginger to the sautéed green onions.
- Leftover dumplings can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days and reheated by steaming or pan-frying.
