  • 4 soft burger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • Cooking oil (canola or vegetable)

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dredge each piece of chicken in flour until fully coated, shaking off excess.
  3. Heat about half an inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
