Description

Indulge in these creamy, cheese-stuffed pasta shells topped with rich marinara sauce—a perfect dish for cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Generously fill each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  4. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish and arrange the filled shells in a single layer on top.
  5. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells, sprinkle with remaining mozzarella, and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • Substitute cottage cheese for a lighter filling option or add mushrooms for extra flavor.
