Description

Sriracha Glazed Chicken is a deliciously sweet and spicy dish that’s perfect for any occasion, bringing a burst of flavor to your dinner table.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Sriracha, honey, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and lime juice until smooth.
  3. Place the chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Remove chicken from the marinade (reserve marinade) and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. After removing the chicken, pour the reserved marinade into the skillet, bring to a boil while stirring until slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Slice the chicken, drizzle with thickened sauce, and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • For less spiciness, mix the Sriracha with more honey or choose a milder hot sauce.
