Description
Sriracha Glazed Chicken is a deliciously sweet and spicy dish that’s perfect for any occasion, bringing a burst of flavor to your dinner table.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together Sriracha, honey, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and lime juice until smooth.
- Place the chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Remove chicken from the marinade (reserve marinade) and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- After removing the chicken, pour the reserved marinade into the skillet, bring to a boil while stirring until slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
- Slice the chicken, drizzle with thickened sauce, and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- For less spiciness, mix the Sriracha with more honey or choose a milder hot sauce.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli during cooking for a balanced meal.
