  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 oz (340g) spaghetti pasta

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until golden brown (3-5 minutes).
  3. Increase heat slightly and add ground beef; cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in grated carrot, mixing well.
  5. Add canned tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Serve spaghetti topped with the bolognese sauce and garnish as desired.
