- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey or agave syrup, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
- Fold in chopped parsley or cilantro until well mixed.
- Place the shrimp in a large resealable bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Ensure all shrimp are well-coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for best flavor).
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated shrimp in a single layer.
- Cook each side for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque; avoid overcooking.
