Description

Experience the refreshing blend of sweet strawberries and fragrant basil in these delightful popsicles, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup filtered water

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop strawberries, removing stems.
  2. Blend strawberries, basil, honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, and water until smooth.
  3. Optionally strain the mixture to remove seeds and basil bits for a smoother texture.
  4. Pour blended mixture into popsicle molds, leaving some space at the top.
  5. Insert sticks into molds and freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid.
  6. To release popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds briefly before enjoying.

Notes

  • For variety, substitute strawberries with raspberries or blueberries.
  •  Add a splash of lemon juice for extra tanginess.
