Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

- 2 cups cooked rice or noodles
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the sirloin against the grain.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add sliced beef in a single layer and sear for about two minutes until browned; do not overcrowd the pan.
- Add broccoli and any remaining marinade; stir-fry until broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp (about three minutes).
- Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions if desired.
Notes
