  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the sirloin against the grain.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Add sliced beef in a single layer and sear for about two minutes until browned; do not overcrowd the pan.
  5. Add broccoli and any remaining marinade; stir-fry until broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp (about three minutes).
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions if desired.
