- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup whole milk (or milk alternative)
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and milk until combined. Stir in melted butter and half of the Nutella until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined; do not overmix.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups until they are two-thirds full. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining Nutella on top and swirl gently with a toothpick.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding chocolate chips or walnuts to the batter.
- To store, keep muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for longer freshness.
