- 2 (6 oz) fresh fish fillets (salmon or cod)
- 3 tablespoons white miso paste
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Place fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated fillets skin-side down. Bake for 12-15 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with additional sesame oil, and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For an added kick, consider incorporating ginger or garlic into the marinade.
