Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Juice of ½ lemon
Instructions
- Gather and prep your ingredients by finely chopping garlic and measuring herbs.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and sear seasoned chicken breasts until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in more butter until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth.
- Add dried thyme and oregano; let the sauce simmer until slightly thickened.
- Stir in fresh spinach until wilted, then add lemon juice for brightness.
- Return chicken to the skillet, top with Parmesan cheese, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, substitute sun-dried tomatoes with roasted red peppers or add extra greens like kale.
- Ensure not to overcook the chicken when searing to maintain tenderness.
