- 1/4 cup smooth Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup 100% pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish with non-stick spray or olive oil.
- In a bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each piece is evenly coated.
- Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight for enhanced flavor).
- Transfer the marinated chicken to the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear.

Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary to the marinade.
