  • 2 fresh lemons (for juice, about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Coat the chicken breasts in the mixture and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil. Sear the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and squeeze additional lemon juice over it while it rests.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Transfer the chicken to an oven-safe dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
