Description

Lasagna rolls are a delightful twist on traditional lasagna, featuring creamy ricotta and fresh spinach wrapped in tender noodles, baked to golden perfection. Perfect for family gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles (no-boil or traditional)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, half of the mozzarella, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Lay each noodle flat, spoon filling along one end, and roll tightly. Place seam-side down in the dish.
  6. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
