- 1 cedar plank
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)

- 2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Soak the cedar plank in water for at least one hour before grilling.
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and herbs until well combined.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a plate and brush generously with the marinade. Let marinate for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F) and ensure grates are clean and lightly oiled.
- Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill grates and close the lid until it starts smoking (approximately 5 minutes).
- Place the marinated salmon fillets on top of the plank skin-side down. Close the lid and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
