Description

Savor the authentic taste of Greece with these juicy, herb-infused meatballs. Perfectly seasoned and baked to golden perfection, they’re ideal for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Tzatziki sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, parsley, garlic, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Form the mixture into uniform balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 70°C).
  5. Serve warm with tzatziki sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in feta cheese or using ground turkey instead of beef.
  •  Chill the meatball mixture for 30 minutes before forming to help maintain shape during baking.
