  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Sauté garlic and shrimp: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add shrimp and seasonings: Toss in shrimp, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until shrimp turns pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. 4. Combine with pasta: Add drained pasta to the skillet with shrimp. Pour in fresh lemon juice and toss everything together gently.
  5. 5. Add parsley and serve: Remove from heat, stir in chopped parsley, and serve immediately with an extra squeeze of lemon if desired.
