- 4 fresh salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients. Mince the garlic and measure out soy sauce and lemon juice.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the fillets and spoon the glaze over them. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through but still juicy.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds if desired. Serve alongside rice or steamed vegetables.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey-garlic mixture for 15 minutes before cooking.
