- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 12 oz fusilli or penne pasta
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and Italian seasoning; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently until simmering. Add mozzarella and stir until melted.
- Toss in the drained pasta and sliced chicken, mixing well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
