Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add warm water until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest.
- 2. Make the Filling: In another bowl, combine ground chicken or turkey, green onions, cabbage, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- 3. Roll Out the Dough: Divide the rested dough into golf ball-sized pieces. Roll each piece into thin circles about 3 inches wide.
- 4. Fill the Dumplings: Place one tablespoon of filling in the center of each circle. Fold over to create a half-moon shape and pinch to seal tightly.
- 5. Steam the Dumplings: Line your steamer basket with parchment paper. Steam dumplings over boiling water for 15-20 minutes until translucent.
Notes
