Description

Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
  • 3 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Cut each pastry sheet into squares approximately 4 inches wide.
  5. Place about two tablespoons of filling in the center of each square. Fold the corners over to create pockets and pinch edges tightly to seal.
  6. Whisk together the egg and water for the egg wash; brush it over each sealed pillow.
  7. Arrange the pillows on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
