  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour (or cornstarch), mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes (prepared)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the chopped onion and diced carrots; cook until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the beef broth and sprinkle the tapioca flour mixture over the meat. Stir until the filling thickens, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix in the frozen peas and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. While simmering, prepare the mashed potatoes by mixing them with butter until creamy.
