- 4–5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix apple cider, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or bowl and cover with the marinade. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 200°C).
- Remove chicken from marinade (discard leftover marinade) and grill each side for 6-7 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy with grilled vegetables or coleslaw.
