Ingredients

  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rinse and pat dry the salmon fillets. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until bubbly but not browned. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix well.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle half of the garlic butter over them.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
