  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).

  5. Gradually mix in half of the dry ingredients followed by half of the milk, stirring gently. Repeat with the remaining dry mix and milk until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, spread peanut butter frosting generously between layers and on top.
