Description

Crispy chicken tenders are a family favorite, featuring a golden, crunchy coating that encases tender, juicy meat. Perfect for any occasion, they are easy to make and utterly satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for baking or heat oil in a skillet for frying.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika.
  3. Coat each chicken breast piece in the flour mixture, dip in eggs, then coat thoroughly in breadcrumbs.
  4. For frying, cook each tender in heated oil for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. For baking, place on a lined baking sheet, spray lightly with cooking oil, and bake for about 20 minutes.
  5. Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

  • Customize your tenders by adding garlic powder or herbs to the breadcrumb mix.
  •  Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven at 375°F to retain crispiness.
