Description

Crispy Bang Bang Chicken is a flavor-packed dish featuring juicy chicken coated in a golden, crunchy crust and tossed in a spicy-sweet sauce. Perfect for any gathering!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, and cornstarch. In another bowl, whisk eggs. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat (about 350°F). Fry chicken in batches until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  5. While frying, whisk together chili sauce, honey, and lime juice for the sauce.
  6. Once fried, drain chicken on paper towels and toss in the sauce before serving.
