- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup chili sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
- In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, and cornstarch. In another bowl, whisk eggs. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat (about 350°F). Fry chicken in batches until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
- While frying, whisk together chili sauce, honey, and lime juice for the sauce.
- Once fried, drain chicken on paper towels and toss in the sauce before serving.
