Description
Churros are a delightful treat combining crispy exteriors with soft, fluffy interiors, perfectly dusted in cinnamon sugar. These homemade churros are ideal for dipping and sharing!

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt over medium heat until melted. Stir in flour until fully combined.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until the dough is smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting with scissors.
- Fry churros for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture while warm.
Notes
- For an extra twist, try filling your churros with dulce de leche or chocolate cream.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature and reheat briefly to regain crispness.
