Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  2. Stir in green onions and soy sauce, cooking for an additional five minutes.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into 4-inch circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each pastry circle, fold to create half-moons, and seal the edges.
  5. Whisk the egg with a tablespoon of water; brush over each pie for shine.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake pies on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
