- 4 crusty sandwich rolls or hoagie buns
- 2 tsp olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pound the chicken breasts between plastic wrap until about half an inch thick.
- Set up a breading station: one dish for flour, another for beaten eggs, and a third for breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg wash, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; fry each breaded chicken breast for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Place fried chicken on a baking sheet; top with marinara sauce and slices of mozzarella cheese.
