Description

Start your day with a vibrant and nutritious Breakfast Grain Bowl featuring a delightful combination of grains, fresh fruits, and crunchy toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup mixed fresh fruits (e.g., berries, bananas)
  • ¼ cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse quinoa under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, combine quinoa with almond milk and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for about 15 minutes until fluffy.
  2. While quinoa cooks, toast rolled oats in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Chop your choice of fresh fruits.
  4. In serving bowls, layer cooked quinoa at the bottom, followed by toasted oats. Top with fresh fruits and sprinkle nuts on top.
  5. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes
