- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for whipped cream)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and milk; mix until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, poke holes in the cake about an inch apart using the handle of a wooden spoon.
- Whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk in another bowl until thickened; spread over the holes in the cake.
- For ganache, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until steaming; stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Pour over the pudding layer.
- Whip remaining heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form; spread over the ganache.
