Description

Beef taquitos are a crispy, flavorful snack that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion. These delightful treats are sure to satisfy your cravings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 flour tortillas (6-inch)
  • Oil for frying
  • Sour cream or guacamole (for serving)
  • Salsa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning with water according to package instructions and cook until thickened.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then place about 2 tablespoons of filling on each tortilla. Top with cheese and roll tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the rolled taquitos seam-side down until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in chopped jalapeños or fresh cilantro into the filling.
  • To make these gluten-free, use corn tortillas instead of flour.
