Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup pine nuts (optional), toasted
  • Pita bread or skewers for serving
  • Tzatziki sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or set your oven to broil. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, pepper, and optional pine nuts. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into kebabs around skewers or into even-thickness patties.
  4. Grill the kebabs for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F).
  5. Serve hot with warm pita bread and tzatziki sauce.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the beef mixture for 30 minutes before shaping.
