Description

Asian Glazed Salmon is a delectable dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated in a sweet and savory glaze. Perfect for any occasion, it’s both easy to make and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the salmon: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Coat each salmon fillet generously and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Preheat your oven or grill to medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Sear the salmon: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil. Place the salmon skin-side down and sear for 4–5 minutes until crispy. Flip carefully.
  4. 4. Baste the salmon: Spoon leftover marinade over the fillets while cooking for another 3–4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. 5. Finishing touch: If using an oven, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes until caramelized.
  6. 6. Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving alongside rice or steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • For a sweeter glaze, substitute honey with maple syrup.
  •  Add colorful veggies like bok choy for a vibrant side dish.
  •  Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days; reheat gently.
